Wildflower
An exhibition by Julie Shepherd
19 August - 23 September 2007
Redland Art Gallery, Cleveland, Gallery 1
Wildflower explores the fragility of the natural environment and addresses global environmental issues from a local perspective. The Redlands based artist, Julie Shepherd uses the bushland around her local neighbourhood, which includes part of Coolnwynpin Creek, as inspiration for the designs in this recent body of porcelain work. Installations showcasing individual pieces of fine, translucent and pierced porcelain form part of this major solo exhibition.
