It Never Did Sink
It Never Did Sink, the collaboration between Dave Jones, Christine Dew and students from Macleay Island State School, is a short animation that treats viewers to anecdotal recollections about how life used to be lived on Macleay Island. The film takes the viewer on a journey filled with adventures and hi-jinks told through stories from some of the locals. Colourful illustrations by children from the island’s primary school, transformed into animations, bring the stories to life.
Visitors to the gallery will be able to contribute their own artwork in the It Never Did Sink Portrait Gallery and Production Room.
