With or With Drought You
An exhibition by Nicola Chatham
21 June - 2 August 2009
Redland Art Gallery, Cleveland, Gallery 2, 3, 4
With or With Drought You features a series of works inspired by Nicola Chatham’s travels around the east coast of Australia and New Zealand. Her small oil paintings are based on photographs and represent the dislocated experience of travelling through changing scenery. The titles for the works are extracts taken from her journal and provide a glimpse into her private, interior world.
