Become a Redland Art Gallery Volunteer
Redland Art Gallery is the Redland's most vibrant cultural destination with a mix of innovative and culturally diverse exhibitions. Gallery volunteers are the gallery's most vital asset. We are always keen to hear from interested people dedicated to the arts.
Redland Art Gallery features six exhibition spaces at two galleries in Cleveland and Capalaba, specialising in presenting a varied program of cultural exhibitions that looks to define a Redlands' cultural identity.
Volunteers play an important role in the gallery by
- providing information to gallery visitors
- reception and administration support
- assisting install and demount exhibitions
- researching the collection
- assisting at functions and events and
- lots more!
The Gallery Volunteer Program works on a roster basis and most volunteers participate for a few hours twice a month, depending on availability. Introductory and continuing training and information sessions are provided and opportunity exists for personal skills development. It is also a great way to make new friends and reconnect with old ones.
