ecoBiz is an innovative program benefiting the environment and participating businesses – it provides business with a step by step guide towards eco-efficiency.

The ecoBiz program supported by Redland City Council with the program’s initiator - Queensland Environmental Protection Agency - offers support to business in reducing their water and energy consumption, waste and greenhouse gas emissions.

For business this translates to financial and non-financial benefits such as:

  • Reduced operating costs in areas of energy, water and waste 
  • Improve profitability 
  • Reduced environmental impact of the business and associated risks 
  • Enhanced corporate reputation 
  • Increased staff morale

 
Participating business may also be eligible to apply for subsidies towards the cost of implementing water, waste or energy savings.
