Providing pathways to success

Sheldon College aims to facilitate quality education programs and enhance partnerships between Sheldon College and tertiary and training organisations, business, industry and the community to provide students with Pathways to Success.

As well as participating in work experience and structured work placement, students interact with our business community through our school-based apprenticeship/traineeship program. These students are also OP eligible.

Sheldon College would like to engage with businesses interested in providing work experience, school-based apprenticeships/traineeships and part time work for students in the above noted areas or other industry areas.
 

Pathways Projects

Sheldon College currently delivers the Redlands Hospitality Pathways Project in partnership with the Courthouse Restaurant and Sea World Nara Resort.

The project allows students to undertake an accelerated school-based traineeship in hospitality. As a result of the program, of the students that undertook the program 100% completed the traineeship and 100% are continuing on in the industry.

Sheldon College has established strong links with tertiary and training organisations, business, industry and the community and we wish to develop further relationships to enhance opportunities for our students.
