The Redlands is a rapidly growing area with the estimated population projection for 2003/04 at 128,586.
This is expected to increase by more than 40, 000 in the next 10 years.
The Redland’s population began to experience significant growth in the 1980s. A large percentage of residents came from Brisbane, and later interstate migrations added to the population.
