Straddie Holiday Parks
Stradbroke Island holiday parks are located on North Stradbroke Island in sub-tropical south east Queensland. There are several parks or foreshore camping grounds to choose from. Each ground has unique features and various accommodation options.
Council operates seven camping areas on the island. All camping sites require bookings. A permit is needed for beach camping and you'll need another one for driving on the beaches.

Fire ban
Due to the Queensland Fire and Rescue Service announcement on 28 July 2010 of a Declaration of a Fire Danger Period, ground fires are completely banned between 29 August 2010 and 2 January 2011. This includes cooking fires and any device using timber or heat beads. Failure to comply will result in penalties as administered by QFRS. For more information, please refer to the QFRS website >>
