Amity Point beach is calm and protected. It has a swimming enclosure, providing a safe place for families to enjoy the water. You can picnic at Cabarita park, Clayton Road, which has picnic tables, BBQ, play equipment, drinking water and toilets.
If you're fascinated by the underwater world, Amity Point is the place to be. Go snorkelling and feast your eyes on the colourful reef fish, turtles and unique marine life. Dolphins love to play in the waters just off the island.
The
boat ramp provides easy access to the bay. The
jetty is a great spot for fishing. You can also see trawlers off-loading their catch there while friendly pelicans wait patiently for a feed.
There is a range of
