Karragarra
Karragarra, once called Rabbit Island, is the smallest of the Bay Islands. Off the beaten tourist track, Karra is a great place to stop, explore and enjoy the bay.
Just four kms long and half a km wide, the island supports around 100 residents, who rely on buying their supplies on the mainland or Russell Island, so be prepared to bring along a picnic basket.
There are parks, sandy beaches and barbecue facilities.
Wet a line, take a walk to the rainforest at the northern end of the island or just relax in the sun on Karragarra.
