Visit these island-style markets by the beach. Just 10 minutes by passenger ferry from Victoria Point.
These markets are held 5 times a year including:
- Australia Day (26 January)
- Easter Sunday
- 17 July (their biggest day of the year - Flinders Day celebrations and re-enactment of Matthew Flinders’)
- 18 September and
- 27 November.
Come to the beach and browse through these affordable markets.
They provide a relaxed family atmosphere with live, local entertainment.
Largely run by locals, you’ll always find home-made jams and chutneys, traditional Greek sweets, cottage crafts, hand-made greeting cards, crystals, and a selection of dolls’ clothes.
Volunteers from the historical society run a display where all your history questions can be answered.
