Walking trail from Wimbourne Park to Kindred Crt. Picnic and barbecues at Redlands IndigiScapes Centre or Wimbourne Park.

Access

Via Wimbourne Rd or Kindred Crt. Free street parking for cars, buses Wimbourne Rd only. Bus Route 6; stop at Burwood Shopping Centre, Vienna Rd. 

Walk

Easy graded track 2km circuit, no dogs or horses. Bicycles permitted.

What to see

Scribbly gum forest, koalas, good wildflowers especially July – September.

What to do

Walking, bird-watching, frogging and koala spotting.

Wildlife of interest

This reserve supports one of the largest Greater Glider colonies in the Redlands. Greater gliders and other gliders and possums can be seen by spotlight at night however permits for spotlighting are required. Red-necked and Swamp Wallabies can also be seen if you are very quiet.

Plants of interest

One of last remaining patches of the scribbly gum Eucalyptus racemosa and wide diversity of wildflowers especially the Purple flag Iris in early spring.
