Toilets, picnic area and lake suitable for swimming. Free car parking for cars and small buses.
Access
Around 4km by bitumen road and sand track from ferry. No constructed walking trails but fire trails are suitable for walking.
Walk
Difficult - loose sand, fire access tracks, some quite steep. Dogs, horses and bicycles are not permitted.
What to see
Blackbutt and scribbly gum forest and sedge wetland, excellent wallum wildflowers with something in flower all year. Beautiful scenery with pure white silica beach against the clear brown tannin stained waters of Brown Lake.

Walking, bird-watching, wildflower photography and swimming.

Plants of interest
Wide diversity of wildflowers including Baeckea frutescens the weeping baeckea, bright yellow native broom Aotus ericoides and Aotus lanigera, blueberry ash Elaeocarpos reticulatus, and masses of ground orchids in early Spring.
