There is around 4000ha of bushland in the Redlands.
A range of walking, hiking, biking and horse riding experiences are available from paved urban paths to more challenging bush trails.
The Redlands has a diversity of bush types, displaying over 800 types of native plants and a wide variety of mammals, birds, butterflies, frogs and reptiles.
Dogs, bicycles and horses are permitted in select reserves. Follow the regulatory signs found at the entrance to all of our reserves.
A walk around the emerald fringe gives excellent bay views and will take you through dune wildflowers, cypress pines, melaleuca wetlands and mangrove areas. More information >>
There are 10 mainland nature tracks ranging from low grade circuit walks to longer, more challenging tracks. Some of the tracks also allow mountain bikes and horses. More information >>
Straddie has four walks to choose from. You can take the easy tracks around Pt Lookout which offers excellent scenic views or perhaps try a challenging walk around Brown Lake. More information >>
