Heritage trail
Cleveland, which oringinally included Ormiston, was the first township formed in the Redlands mainland. Proclaimed a township in December 1950, the initial land sales attracted squatters and businessmen keen to see Cleveland Point become the main port of the new Moreton Bay settlement, with Ipswich as the commercial centre.
