Popular Parks
Enjoy sporting and recreational activities in the Redlands. Our parks offer barbeque facilities, off-leash areas for dogs, play equipment and toilets. We have beautiful parks that are popular venues for holding parties, weddings and other functions. Some overlook the bay and offer swimming or skating options. Bookings are essential and can be made with the Reserves Booking Officer on ph 3829 8413. Fees and charges may apply.

Wellington Point Reserve, Wellington Point

Facilities include shelters, picnic area, drinking water, electric BBQ, handicapped toilet, play equipment, swimming, boat ramp, jetty, parking, cafe and popular function area. You can walk to King Island on the sandbar which is only exposed at low tide. Return distance is 3.3km.
Beth Boyd Park, Thorneside

Facilities include shelters, picnic area, drinking water, electric BBQ, toilets, play equipment, parking and casual sport area. Walk along the picturesque Queens Esplanade with views of St Helena Island and King Island.
Cleveland Point Reserve, Cleveland

Facilities include shelters, picnic area, drinking water, electric BBQ, toilets, play equipment, viewing platforms, popular function area, boat ramp and parking. The historic Cleveland Point Lighthouse built in 1864 stands here.
Cylinder Beach Foreshore, North Stradbroke Island

Facilities include toilets, patrolled beach, camping grounds, BBQ and play equipment. This picturesque cove is popular with families, campers and weekend anglers.
Capalaba Regional Park, Capalaba

Facilities include shelters, picnic area, electric BBQ, handicapped toilet, play equipment, casual sport area and popular function area. The 14ha recreational space has two large lagoons linked by a canal and trails to nearby wetlands and bushland. Look for the Aerosol Art Mural and Scribble sculpture. The parkland is only a short walk from Capalaba shopping centre and bus station.
