Transport
The Redlands is nestled along the coastline of Moreton Bay and conveniently borders other major business centres such as Brisbane City, Logan City and the Gold Coast.
It is connected to the Pacific Motorway which is the main arterial road to the Gold Coast. We are also linked to the Gateway Motorway which joins us to the domestic and international airports and Bruce Highway (north of Brisbane).
Brisbane, the capital of Queensland, is just 35 to 40 minutes by road, while in the south, Gold Coast (including Coolangatta airport) is around one hour away.
Regular bus, train and ferry services run to and from the Redlands. The main bus service is Veolia Transport, which also organises a special Christmas lights tour every year. Queensland Rail Citytrain offers commuter services on the Cleveland line. For bus and train timetables, visit the TransLink website. Passenger and vehicular ferries are available to the islands. Smaller bus companies run island services on North Stradbroke Island and Macleay Island.
