Indigiscapes
There is an active volunteer program for people interested in becoming involved in IndigiScapes. Volunteers undertake activities such as buffer plantings, bush regeneration, propagation, plant sales and act as hosts and tour guides for visitors to the centre.
Call us on 3824 8611 or visit Redlands IndigiScapes Centre >>
Bushcare
Do you enjoy being outdoors and meeting like-minded people? Bushcare is a great way to positively contribute to local bushland and learn more about the plants and animals that call it home.
Bushcare volunteers spend around two hours a month planting trees, removing weeds and rubbish, and monitoring wildlife and waterways.
For more information, visit Bushcare or phone a Bushcare officer on 3820 1100 or email IndigiScapes.
Living Library
Volunteer to share your story through the Living Library program. Have you experienced prejudice, overcome challenges or led an interesting life? Are you open, honest and willing to share your story? 'Living Books' share their experiences with individual borrowers in a controlled environment.
The Living Library program operates through the Redland City Council libraries and promotes acceptance and understanding across our diverse community. For more info, ph 3829 8766.
