Teacher resource kits
Redland City Council’s teacher resource kits provide teachers with complete, ready-to-use lesson plans and resources on Marine, Indigenous, Environment and Cultural Heritage.
Based on natural and historical sites in the Redlands, the kits offer student-centred learning experiences and assessment tasks designed to produce learning outcomes from various key learning areas.
Designed for upper primary school students, the content complements and supports current Queensland school curriculum modules, but can be easily adapted for other grade levels.
Each lesson plan within the kit includes:
• complete lesson information
• activity sheets
• evaluation and assessment forms
• details of how each plan links with the Queensland school curriculum.
The plans take into consideration prior knowledge and are designed to support and enhance classroom work.
