Both offer respite care to aged or disabled people. We are committed to providing quality care that recognises the rights and individuality of each client.
Potential clients must fulfil Home and Community Care Program (HACC) requirements and must be Shire residents.
The centres close on all public holidays. If the centres close at other times, all clients are advised at least two weeks in advance.
Meals
Both centres have fully equipped kitchens and provide well balanced, nutritional meals. We can cater to those with special dietary requirements.
Activity program
A variety of activities are offered to our clients by well-trained and dedicated staff. These include:

social gatherings.
Excursions
Sometimes the centres organise day trips for clients.
Family members and carers are advised well in advance of such trips. Excursions include trips to the movies, Cleveland Point, animal parks, local nurseries, other centres and barbecues.
Fees
All clients are charged a daily fee.
This covers transport in our specially equipped bus to and from your home, morning and afternoon tea, lunch and most activities during the day.
A further small fee is payable if paramedical services are required. The centres are non-profit. The money you pay is used to further improve the centre and our services.
